Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world’s most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to charter in 2001 – but beware!! Her racing spirit still remains!!
This 2 day/2 night Maxi adventure is surveyed to take its guests to the Whitsunday islands. Taking up to 26 passengers, Broomstick will speed her passengers from one great destination to the next.
Broomstick and her crew will take you on an unforgettable adventure through the Whitsunday Islands. You can participate in all activities such as snorkeling, bushwalking, visiting Whitehaven Beach and helping to sail a true Maxi. Or you can simply sit back and just take it all in.
All meals are freshly prepared onboard and included in the cost of the trip. Bed linen and bath towels are also supplied in the cost of the cruise.
