On Dimanche, there are lots of areas for relaxing and entertaining. The saloon area is large and comfortable and equipped with a 32” flat screen TV/DVD. There is good cupboard space for storage of food/beverage items.
Outside in the cockpit you will find a large table and seating area and upstairs in the Flybridge again is a large seating area with table and another lounge area next to the steering consol. This area is well sheltered from the elements with a bimini and clears which surround the area, to protect against wind and rain.

The vessel is also fully air-conditioned for your Comfort.

Downstairs from the saloon/galley area you will find 2 double cabins on the port side and two double cabins on the starboard side. Each cabin has it’s own compact ensuite bathroom. All beds are 2m in length. The aft port cabin is 1.55m in width, the aft starboard is 1.40m in width (island style bed) and the two forward cabins are 1.40m in width.
Good storage in each of the roomy Cabins with good quality bedspeads & doonas.

Dimanche is a very large vessel with extremely complex systems. The briefing on the boat will be extensive, so note taking will be a must and the briefing time will take a little longer than usual. Please prepare for this and attend the briefing feeling relaxed & unhurried as this is something that cannot be rushed through.
You will also be given an operations manual specific to the vessel that you can refer to throughout the charter.
Our staff will assist you when leaving and entering Abel Point Marina and will drive the vessel in. Extreme caution will be needed if you choose to visit Hamilton Island Marina, although we will try and make arrangements for an easier berth to get you into.

Fuel will be a major consideration for you. It is recommended that you do not exceed 13 knots as you will almost double your fuel consumption. Currently our diesel prices are over $2.00 p/litre. Expect to use approx 40L p/hr at around 13 knots. Dimanche has 2 x 225hp Volvo motors.

The galley is equipped with 2 x fridges (upright Bar style) of 130L each. There is freezer space of 8L in each also, good for icecubes). The upright freezer is located in the cockpit area and the approximate size is 60L. It is recommended to put ice in the bottom first.
The microwave is 12v and run off the inverter. It’s capacity is 20L and 750w. The oven is a bench top style (no grill) with a 4 burner gas stove. There is a
gas BBQ located in the cockpit. Upstairs the Flybridge is equipped with an icebox and sink area for entertaining and easy to reach refreshments for the skipper.
