DescaradA is available for both prescheduled tours and private charters, accommodating a maximum of eight guests in four private cabins. The home port is Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach, which is considered the mainland gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and to the Great Barrier Reef.

Apollo Maxi

Spank Me

Built in 1989 by Alan Bond, Spank Me was originally named “Drumbeat” and won the 1990 Sydney to Hobart Race before relocating overseas to compete for the next decade as “Congere” and then “Spank Me BT”. She returned home to Australia in 2004 and now takes 26 guests exploring the World Heritage Listed Whitsunday Islands, visiting Whitehaven Beach and snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier Reef. For those who want to get involved in the sailing, our experienced crew will need the help of enthusiastic passengers to get on the grinder and pull up the main sail, otherwise you can relax on the spacious deck and enjoy the view.

Pacific Sunrise

Alexander Stewart

A 75ft traditional sailing vessel taking a maximum of 18 passengers on board. The classic charm and rich timber fit out along with huge open decks make for a perfect vessel for island exploration.  She visits all the highlighted areas of the Whitsundays from Whitehaven Beach, the national park islands for bushwalks/games and pristine snorkelling locations on the fringing reefs of the Inner Barrier Reef.

Solway Lass

Built in Holland 1902, Solway Lass is rich in history and has lived through both World Wars, been used for coal carting and carried cargo until she was restored in 1984. It was then used as a floating Restaurant in Sydney Harbour, until it was sailed to the Whitsundays in the early 1990’s. In early 1999 Solway Lass was remodelled for overnight 3 day & 3 night sailing holidays in the Whitsundays. Solway Lass is fully air-conditioned and has 11 cabins for 32 guests. These cabins are private double/twin and share and feature teak and cedar feature walls along with Jarrah timber trims. Departs Tuesdays and Saturdays evenings.

Derwent Hunter

Derwent Hunter -  a 90ft schooner, taking a maximum of 19 passengers on board. Cruise the Whitsunday’s with style and pace, aboard this graceful 22m timber Tall Ship. The Derwent Hunter is a rare maritime treasure and has a rich Australian history. Built to last in Tasmanian Oak and Huon Pine ,  she boasts  five private cabins with en-suites plus a range of share accommodation, along with large permanent shaded deck areas with deck chairs .

Waltzing Matilda

Waltzing Matilda is a 60ft ketch taking a maximum of 14 passengers on board the boat. With a reputation for providing a sailing experience that combines comfort with adventure, this Roberts ketch provides a spacious and relaxed atmosphere for it’s passengers. ‘Waltzing Matilda’ has a fantastic sailing ability and your crew of 2 will show you the best locations of the Marine Park and will ensure your trip is truly memorable.

Ron of Argyll

Classic sailing aboard Ron of Argyll which is a two masted ketch, built in Scotland in 1928. These boats were renowned for thier excellent speed and handeling characteristics. Ron of Argyll takes 12 guests on a traditional Whitsunday sailing experience. On deck large roll out awning for shade. Downstairs has the old world warmth of a classic timber finish.

On Location

On Location was designed by world famous architects J&J specifically for the luxury market. She has 3 private double cabins, each fitted out with their own ensuite and designer fittings. Large dining room, DVD and plasma screen. Above deck the transom opens so guests may gain effortless access to the turquoise waters to snorkel over spectacular coral reefs. The deck shower provides a refreshing rinse and shade to cool you down. On Location will take you anywhere in speed and comfort.

Anaconda III

Anaconda III is a 101ft Mega yacht, making her the largest sloop sailing vessel cruising the Whitsunday waters. Due to her size, Anaconda III has an advantage over most other yachts, as she is surveyed to visit the outer Great Barrier Reef. This is an adventure only a very few sailing boats in the Whitsundays can offer and she is fully air conditioned throughout. Offering share cabins, private double and private twins, Anaconda III has a room to suit most people and takes up to 32 passengers. British Defender is a high tech Whitbread Around The World Racing Maxi that was raced by the British Armed Services during the 1989/90 Around the World Race. It is an 83ft Maxi Yacht with a Sloop design. Built of Carbon Fibre, features include a huge 115ft mast, race grinding winch towers and over 6ft of headroom below deck. Since this maxi was converted into a Whitsunday Charter Maxi yacht in 2001, she runs a 3-day/2night trip departing Thursdays and Mondays. Taking up to 26 guests, this trip is suited to people who want a Maxi-racing adventure cruise!

Condor

Condor is perhaps the most famous Maxi yacht in history, having won every major ocean race in the world twice! Condor is the only yacht to have achieved this distinction. Condor is 81ft in length, was designed by Ron Holland and built in Penryn, Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Departing Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Condor takes up to 29 passengers on an awesome 2-day/2-night adventure.

Broomstick

Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world’s most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to charter in 2001 – but beware!! Her racing spirit still remains!! This 2-day/2-night Maxi adventure is surveyed to take its guests the Whitsunday islands. Taking up to 26 passengers, Broomstick will speed her passengers from one great destination to the next.

Siska

Siska is an 80ft Ocean Maxi that has won races all over the world including Australia, England, Fiji, Hawaii, Hong Kong, New Zealand and South Africa!
