Family holidays make the best memories and are a huge amount of fun! Hamilton Island is overflowing with activities and attractions that the whole family will love. The island is has a natural playground to explore with walks and sandy beaches but there are also sports, wildlife and adrenalin activities to burn off some of that energy!
Start the day with a cruise into Hamilton Island Marina where our staff will meet you and direct you to the Hamilton Explorer Shuttle buses. On board the bus, there's no better way to see the island's highlights and get your bearings from the spectacular scenic lookout points.
First stop is where the real fun begins with a visit to WILD LIFE Hamilton Island. Enjoy the guided tour at 10:00am and 4:00pm daily, or wander through the unique Australian sanctuary at your leisure and be introduced to the local koalas, kangaroos, birds, creepy-crawlies, snakes and lizards and even the giant resident crocodile. On the guided tours you will learn all about the creatures you meet. Fancy a photograph holding a koala or python?
Enjoy Fish 'N' Chips for lunch and then wander down to the Hamilton Island Resort Centre for an hour of Island Bowling. Kegel 9 pin bowling is great fun for all of the family with up to six players participating.
