Daydream Island
While Daydream Island Resort seems like
it is a thousand miles from anywhere, getting there is simple.
Daydream Island is serviced by both Proserpine and Hamilton
Airports. From Hamilton Island it's just a 30 minute trip
by launch across the Whitsunday Passage. From Proserpine airport,
you will board a coach to Shute Harbour, and from here your
launch will depart for the 15 minute crossing to Daydream
Island Resort.
Daydream Island has a relaxed atmosphere,
so bring light casual clothing. It can be cooler
in the evenings so pop a sweater in just in case. A limited
range of non prescription medications is available as well
as sunscreens, toothpaste and general items. Other items should
be brought from home.
