ReefWorld gives you the Reef the way you want it! Take a tour aboard one of the semi-submarines; or simply sit back in the underwater viewing chamber - it couldn't be more relaxed. Or if you're more adventurous, our E-Sea Dive & Snorkel team can show you the magic in the calm waters. Just $59 for Certified and Introductory dives, and a range of levels of snorkeling tour are available, With four full hours at Reefworld, you can do as much or as little as you like!.

Travel in style aboard our large, high speed, air-conditioned catamaran bound for Reefworld at stunning Hardy Reef - your base for exploring this natural wonder. Hardy Reef is a healthy platform reef which allows for sheltered & protected snorkelling and swimming conditions year round. The location and strategic positioning of Reefworld at Hardy Reef means that you will spend less time on the vessel and more time exploring the Great Barrier Reef.

Reefworld can proudly boast the largest number of colourful reef fish of any Whitsunday Great Barrier Reef operator. Fish species include our Queensland Groper 'George', who measures 3 metres in length, and our playful Maori Wrasse 'Wally' - plus thousands of other marine residents!

 

1 day Sailing Adventure aboard the maxi Ragamuffin
To you choice of destination, either Whitehaven Beach or Blue Pearl Bay.

Option 1. Whitehaven Beach
Sixteen nautical miles from the mainland is a place which is renowned as one of the world’s most famous beaches. The water at Whitehaven is usually crystal clear, so it’s a great spot to enjoy a swim in the warm tropical waters of The Whitsundays.Beach cricket, volleyball, frisbee and other activities are available for those that feel the need to expend some energy whilst on the beach.

Your picnic is an informal affair and yet the menu is exotic. We have a selection of fresh tortilla rolls with satay chicken or vegetarian salad, rare roast beef and salad rolls and a fresh Queensland tropical fruit platter. A gourmet afternoon platter is served on our return sail to the mainland. The return sail past some very interesting and dramatic scenery tops off a day trip that is a must for every visitor to the Whitsundays!

Option 2. Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island
A two-hour sail from the mainland, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island boasts some spectacular fringing reef. See beautiful fringing reef corals and thousands of tropical fish in waist deep water just metres from the beach.

For the more adventurous, a short paddle brings you to spectacular coral bommies and the largest Blue Pearl Bay residents like Maori Wrasse and Coral Trout. Snorkelling is supervised and for the new or inexperienced, instruction is available on board. All snorkelling gear is supplied free of charge.

Diving (additional cost) – Even if you haven’t dived before, try your first dive with our qualified dive instructors, subject to a diving medical questionnaire on board. Or for Certified Divers, our instructors will show you the best sites in The Whitsundays. All gear is provided for all dives.

After about two hours exploring the bay guests are invited back aboard Maxi Ragamuffin for a delicious buffet lunch, including cold roast meats, gourmet salads and crusty bread rolls. After lunch, there is usually time for a swim or a bit of sunbathing before the crew set sail again for the return leg via the Whitsunday Passage to Shute Harbour. A fresh Queensland tropical fruit platter is served during the return sail to the mainland.
