Private Crewed Charters
Private Crewed Charters are vessels which are available
for an unlimited period - though normally for 3 -10 days and
come with a skipper/guide and crew.
These private charters range in price from $1500 per day
and prove good value when the cost is divided among a group
of 6 or more guests. The standard of vessels available for
private and exclusive charter is generally very high with
the skipper/guide and crew offering the highest levels of
discreet service while showing their guests the best the Whitsunday's
have to offer.
Private Charters offer you the chance to experience the Whitsunday's
at your own pace and with complete relaxation. You can, of
course get in and give a hand with the sails if you desire.
You as charterers have full and exclusive occupancy and use
of the vessel. Also the main say in your destinations, dependent
on weather and tides. Menu's, drinks lists and details of
itinerary's can then also be forwarded to you depending on
your requirements.
For any special requests with diet, itinerary or pick up
details please insure you notify your consultant as soon as
possible. Private Charter quotes are always dependent on the
dates you are looking for. Once a vessel is selected, dates
are available and a quote has been given, a deposit is required
to secure the reservation. This is normally a 20% deposit,
which can be made by credit card, direct deposit or cheque.
Payment in full for a private charter is then required 60
days prior to arrival. Arrival details should then also be
reconfirmed 48 hours prior to departure.

Ise
Pearl
"Ise Pearl" named after the Japanese
pearling town "Ise" famous for the cultured
pearl industry is a gaff rigged topsail ketch, built in
1956 by Charlie Crowley to a design by Norman Wright.
The skipper "Sparrow" has spent most of his
life at sea and is a fully qualified traditional wooden
boat builder. Ise Pearl was restored to near perfection,
regardless of time, money or effort as "Sparrow's"
own boat. Everything on Ise Pearl was skilfully crafted
to the classic beauty of a bygone era in Australian
Maritime History.
The beautiful lines of Ise Pearl have not escaped the
eye of movie producers both in Australia and overseas.
She featured as the main boat in the Warner Bros. production
of "Tales of the South Seas" which was filmed
in the Whitsunday Islands.
Guests are invited to cruise on a 60ft fully restored
classic wooden Japanese pearling lugger. Don't be a
tourist, become part of the crew and sail on a movie
star. Experience the sailing of 'days-gone-by' and discover
the uninhibited islands of the Whitsunday's on this
journey. Feel the nostalgia of a bygone era in small
numbers - up to 8 guests maximum.
Accommodation is in single bunks throughout the open
plan layout.

Matador
Matador is one of the maxi
racing yachts in the area, having competed in 52 races,
8 regattas and 2 maxi world champions undefeated. This
vessel was designed and developed in 1991, constructed
out of carbon fibre, titanium and aluminum.
Matador combines size and power with the thrill of
speed for an adventure of a lifetime through the Whitsunday's.
Taking up to 20 passengers onboard, you are welcome
to get involved in the sailing as much as you like.
Or lay back and watch the crew. Definitely a trip for
those wanting something with a little more adrenaline
pumping power.
Matador has been refitted since its racing days to
accommodation guests comfortably in an open plan environment.
There are several showers and bathrooms onboard with
a mix of double and single bunks.

Condor
Condor is perhaps the most
famous Maxi yacht in history, having won every major
ocean race in the world twice! Condor is the only yacht
to have achieved this distinction. Condor is 81ft in
length, was designed by Ron Holland and built in Penryn,
Cornwall in the United Kingdom.
Condor has raced in and won, every major ocean race
twice! Some of these races include the Sydney to Hobart,
Fastnet, Bermuda Cup, World Maxi Championship, Porto
Cervo Maxi Series and Antigua Race Week just to name
a few!
Below deck, Condor has an open plan layout, offering
single and double berths, all in share accommodation.
Passengers are offered the opportunity to rendezvous
with a dive connection, snorkel the fringing island
reefs, lie on beautiful Whitehaven Beach and enjoy the
awesome thrill of Maxi sailing aboard a true legend.
