In the unlikely case of a vessel break down or maintenance, either the agent or tour operator will supply an alternative vessel to a similar standard and quality inclusions. Itineraries may be affected by wind, tide, rain, storm or the Skipper's professional judgement to keep their guests and crew safe.
Note that not all vessels supply towels so please check when making your booking. Please put all items that you are taking onboard into a small soft, ‘zipper-free’ bag.
Guests should note that Sailing can be a dangerous activity and while crews will make every effort to ensure guest safety, they cannot be accountable for actions of guests that are ‘beyond our control’. Guests will be required to complete a pre departure questionnaire, and sign a travel agreement during the check-in process. Shipowners have the applicable insurance to cover public liability for guests and staff.
Airliebeach.com cannot be held responsible for missed flights due to late arrival at airline check-in counter. Allow plenty of time to transfer to airports.
At certain times of the year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk you will be given the option to wear a full length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise.
Age and medical restrictions apply to diving activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed. Due to altitude restrictions certified divers cannot fly immediately after diving.
We recommend that guests take out their own travel insurance to cover valuable items (e.g. cameras) and to protect themselves against unforseen last-minute cancellations or medical conditions that may occur during carriage, and the associated costs of accessing medical care around the islands.
Postponement / transfer of a trip may be considered by operators, based on the merit of the circumstances causing the postponement. Where full payment has been made and we can re-sell the space on departure, we will refund payments made less 20%.
Please note, that operators refuse the right of boarding to any guest who arrives intoxicated by alcohol or under the influence of illegal substances. If this occurs, we will not refund any monies paid.
Guests must abide by all Australian Laws while on-board our tours and respect the needs of other guests. If necessary, action may be taken by the Captain and Crew to remove obnoxious or troublesome guests and if required notify the Police and Authorities. If this occurs, operators will not refund any monies paid.
